Littoral Manoeuvre
Beachhead Logistics is the pioneer of future littoral manoeuvre technology design and deployment.
Littoral manoeuvre refers to the strategic movement and deployment of military forces in coastal and near-shore environments, where land, sea, and air domains intersect. It enables rapid projection of power from the sea onto land—often bypassing traditional port infrastructure—allowing forces to seize, support, or deny key coastal areas. This approach is crucial for amphibious operations, humanitarian missions, and logistical support in contested or austere environments.
Logistics Over the Shore (LOTS)
Beachheads core process is its capability to conduct Logistics Over the Shore (LOTS) operations into a temporarily established port.
Sometimes ports are not available or capable of supporting the types of cargo and services we specialise in. We will operate from established ports however, Australia’s (and the Pacific’s) coastline has limited number of suitable ports for certain cargo profiles, and they are separated by significant distances. Often our client’s needs are not where ports are available, or specific cargo profiles are unable to be supported from these locations.
Beachhead Logistics opens up the opportunities to maximise cargo profiles, minimise capital expenditure, unlock major developments and streamline the logistics process.
Temporary Ports
As a maritime continent, Australia is dependent of its ports to facilitate trade, the trouble is, often they are not located at or near where industry requirements are.
At Beachhead we work with the best technology and research and operations partners to enable the establishment and operation of Temporary Marine facilities at the point of requirement.

Construction Projects
Beachheads origins stem from Western Australia’s giant Gorgon LNG project, where for the first 18 months of the project all construction materials were delivered via a Temporary Marine Facility, using LOT’s techniques.
Beachhead ensures that our logistics solutions enable project progression and is not a key limiting factor.

Fuel Logistics
The supply of fuels is critical to many industries and sectors. The Beachhead Logistics team has extensive experience moving packaged and bulk fuels from source to end users, in remote locations, within the littoral zone and utilising LOTS techniques.
Disaster Support
When a natural disaster hits, it wreaks havoc on infrastructure, transportation and communities. One of the most urgent needs is humanitarian aid, but with these problems, it can be challenging. This is where Beachhead’s newest logistics service can make a difference.
Beachhead’s Disaster Relief service uses amphibious vehicles such as shallow draft vessels to transport cargo and personnel from a supply location into the disaster zone. Unlike more conventional methods such as trucks or aircraft, the Beachhead logistics services can bypass roadblocks and hazards where traditional transport mediums can’t and can go, and into areas that would otherwise by inaccessible by aircraft due to lack of infrastructure of safe landing points.
Cyclone Ellie and its impact on Fitzroy crossing was Beachhead’s debut into Disaster relief; after heavy rains caused the Fitzroy River to overflow its banks, submerging roads, bridges and buildings, more than 2,000 people had to be evacuated and more were left without necessities. The Australian Government deployed Beachhead logistics to assist. Our services included the deployment of shallow draft vessels that carried food, water, medicine, blankets and other essential items as well as rescue workers, medical staff and volunteers to the area of disaster.
Our disaster relief service was able to deliver aid faster and more effectively and faster than other means of transportation, thereby helping alleviate the disaster. However, flooding is not our only area of specialization. We can be deployed into disaster zones that affect coastal or inland areas and can be deployed quickly from any port or Beach and are able to operate in a variety of terrains.
Our new service aims to deliver humanitarian aid in an effective and rapid manner when conventional transport methods are not an option. This service is a game-changer for disaster relief.
