A total of 5,520 passengers have used the new ferry service across the Fitzroy River since it was established on March 15.
Averaging 370 movements per day, the service has been critical given the inaccessibility of the damaged Fitzroy River bridge. Other stats include the movement of 880 litres of fuel on the ferry over 16 days, the transport of 20 cargo pallets – and helping nine dogs get across the water!
