After only three weeks of ferry service operations, Beachhead Logistics and team ferries its 10,000th passenger Elizabeth Cox across The Fitzroy River.
To give this number some perspective, it is approximately:
- 8.3 times the population of Fitzroy Crossing.
- 30% of the population of the Kimberley.
- 30 filled jumbo jets.
In contract with Main Roads since January 2023, Beachhead Logistics commenced the ferry service operations on Tuesday 21 March 2023 and is very proud of the support it has been able to provide the local community and the region.
